HollywoodNews.com: Ed Norton seriously wants to be in another superhero film.
After losing out to Mark Ruffalo for the role of The Hulk in Marvel’s “Avengers” film, Norton wants a part in Christopher Nolan’s next “Batman” film.
“Chris Nolan’s making the best ones out there by far,” Norton said of the “Dark Knight” director. “I’d do one with him – he’s set a new bar for sure.”
If Norton had a shot at a villain role, it would be The Riddler. “Inception” thesp Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Johnny Depp have been buzzed for the role, which Jim Carrey played in 1995’s “Batman Forever.” Robin Williams recently said over the summer that he was definitely not linked to the part.
Norton next appears in Overture’s “Stone” alongside Robert De Niro on October 8. The film follows a convicted arsonist who taunts his parole officer by manipulating his wife.
